Timbertale Designs: Return and Refund Policy

  1. Under these circumstances, a customer may choose to return a defective item to Timbertale Designs for repair or for replacement if repair is not possible in the Company’s assessment:
    • Aside from the identified defect, the product is returned in good and unused condition with original packaging
    • The original sales invoice is returned with the product
    • Photos or videos of the product showing the damage/s are taken and sent to the Company within 24 hours from delivery of the product to the address provided by the customer
    • The return is made within seven (7) days from issuance of the Permission to Return by the Company
      Failure to comply with these conditions may be grounds to deny the claim for repair, replacement, or refund.
  2. A product is defective when it does not substantially conform to the specifications of the product and therefore does not serve its purpose. The Company shall determine the nature of the defect, and whether it is due to the fault of the Company. If it is not, the Company shall deny the claim for repair or replacement.
  3. Due to their customer-specific features, custom-made or made-to-order products may not be returned or exchanged. However, they may be repaired to conform to the original customer specifications if there is a substantial deviation from those specifications.
  4. To commence a product return or replacement:
    • The customer must contact the Company to request for product return or replacement, providing photos/videos of the product and its defect within 24 hours from delivery of the product to the address provided by the customer.
    • The Company shall evaluate the request, and a Permission to Return will be issued to the customer if the return of the product is authorized by the Company. The Company shall inform the customer when and where to return the product for further action by the Company.
    • Products returned without the customer first making a request for return and without the issuance of a Permission to Return by the Company will not be accepted.
    • After receipt of the returned product pursuant to the Permission to Return, the Company will provide updates to the customer on the repair, replacement, or refund process.
  5. If product replacement of a similar kind is not feasible, the product may be replaced with another product, preferably of equal or higher price. If the price of the replacement product is higher, the customer shall pay the price difference; conversely, the price difference shall be refunded to the customer if the price of the replacement product is lower. If, according to the Company’s assessment, repair and replacement are not feasible, the customer may be refunded the price of the returned product.
  6. Refunds will be made using the same mode of payment used to purchase the product.
  7. It should be considered that no two items are exactly the same even if they are the same model, as wood characteristics such as grains, colors/shades, markings, or pin knots may vary from one item to another. Our Company endeavors to preserve the natural characteristics of the wood to keep the natural look of our furniture pieces.
